Boeing’s deliveries of large jet aircraft have slipped in the third quarter of 2019 to just 63, marking a 67% dip year-over-year. The platemaker has been quick to stress that the number is largely down to the grounding of the 737 MAX. Boeing’s third-quarter deliveries included 35 Boeing 787 jets which went to customers such as All Nippon Airways, Etihad Airways and Turkish Airlines. Nine of the 12 777 Freighters went to FedEx Express with the remaining going to Qatar Airways, DHL and Turkish Airlines, respectively.
