Hot on the heels of the Airbus-Bombardier C Series deal closure, Boeing and Embraer are reported to be close to finalising their own partnership deal. Brazilian newspaper Valor Economico, cited by Reuters, claims that the two companies have prepared contracts of their proposed partnership and are expected to submit them to the Brazilian government within two weeks. Any deal between the two airframe manufacturers will exclude Embraer’s defence business.
