BOC Aviation announced yesterday plans to lease eight 777-300ER aircraft to Thai Airways International. Thai Airways said it chose the 777-300ER model because it believes the aircraft will make long-haul routes more profitable. Thai Airways says it hopes to use the aircraft on new routes into European markets.
