AWAS has delivered two 737-800 passenger aircraft to new customer SunExpress Airlines. These aircraft come from AWAS’ existing fleet. SunExpress, founded in October 1989 as a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, carries more than seven million passengers per year and operates with a long-term commitment to the traffic between their home markets of Turkey and Europe (mainly Germany).
