Avation receives new ATR 72

Singapore-based lessor Avation has announced that it has purchased and taken delivery of a new ATR 72 aircraft from the manufacturer, and has leased the aircraft to a new lessee. Avation has leased the ATR 72 aircraft to Taiwanese airline, UNI Airways Corporation, bringing the number of new ATR 72s delivered to the company to date to 18. No financial terms of the deal were disclosed. Jeff Chatfield, chairman of Avation, said: “Consistent with our strategy of diversifying the customer base and geography for our leased aircraft, we are pleased to announce this new client and expansion into North Asia.
