Pakistan-based scheduled airline airblue has taken delivery of two A319s from Dublin-based lessor AWAS. Tariq Chaudhary, chief executive officer of airblue, says: “The addition of these 2008 vintage AWAS A319’s is a significant stride towards our refleeting strategy to newer aircraft as we seek to create the best possible travel experience for our customers. The recent vintage of these aircraft will improve our overall efficiency and product offering.” The A319s will operate on both domestic and international routes.
