On July 20, 2022, AFG Aviation Ventures No. 1 (Ireland), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aircraft Finance Germany, completed the acquisition of one Rolls-Royce RB211-535E4 engine bearing ESN 31391 from a subsidiary of Florida-based Gryphon Aviation Leasing. The engine is currently on its way to Budapest (Hungary) where it awaits installation on a Boeing 757-200F airframe.
