Dublin-headquartered AerCap signed 570 lease agreements, completed 207 sale transactions, and made 118 purchases in 2022, the company announced on January 9. In the full year 2022, AerCap closed financing transactions worth approximately US$4.2 billion – signing transactions for approximately $750 million in the fourth quarter alone. A busy final quarter accounted for 159 of the lease deals, 43 of the purchases and 97 of the sale transactions.
