AerCap helping US authorities over aircraft arriving in Iran

Aercap Holdings has confirmed it is cooperating with a US investigation into the supply of aircraft to Iran. The aircraft were purchased by Tehran-based Mahan Air from Al-Naser Airlines of Iraq, which appears to have sourced two of them from Aercap, the lessor said in a filing, adding that it is assisting in the U.S. Office of Foreign Asset Control-led probe. “There is no indication that the company or any of its employees were aware of any such diversion,” Aercap stated, citing an internal review. “The company is fully cooperating with the investigations, which are in their early stages.” Aercap
