JetBlue Airways has reported operating income of $253 million in the first quarter of 2015. This compares to operating income of $41 million in the first quarter of 2014. The carrier posted a pre-tax income of $222 million, compared to $6 million in the first quarter of 2014. JetBlue’s net income was $137 million, up from $4 million during the same period last year.
