The Israel Finance Ministry has approved a bailout package for flag carrier El Al Israel Airlines. The package includes the government’s advance purchase of 20 years of tickets for flight security officials for 685 million shekels ($210 million), as well as commitment from El Al shareholders to issue $105 million in new shares and to freeze dividend allotments for the next five years.
