Fitch updates EETC ratings methodology

Fitch Ratings has published an update to its criteria for rating aircraft enhanced equipment trust certificates (EETCs). This replaces the previous report of the same title, dated May 12, 2016. Modifications to the report include a reduction to the minimum number of aircraft required to achieve a ‘AA’ category rating from 10 to five for portfolios consisting of widebody aircraft.
