A US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing shows investment company Blackrock holding 38.05 million Delta Air Lines shares, or 5.9% of the company. The updated filing showed Blackrock down from the 38.13 million shares and 6% stake it held in the carrier on February 1 2022. Delta reported mid-January that it expects 15-20% revenue growth in 2023 after a better-than-expected end to 2022. Blackrock recently filed adjustments to its shareholdings in carriers Spirit Airlines and JetBlue, decreasing slightly with the former and increasing with the latter, as the two carriers attempt to proceed with a merger in 2023.
