China will have 260 civil airports by 2020, stated Wang Changyi, Director General of Department of Planning and Development late last week. Meanwhile, new regional airports will be built in the low-airport-density but high-demand regions. It is estimated that more than 20 large aviation hubs will be constructed by 2020.
