The preliminary report from Ethiopia’s Accident Investigation Bureau into the cause of the fatal crash of Ethiopian Airlines Flight ET 302 has been released, which reveals that the pilots followed “the Boeing recommended and FAA approved emergency procedures to handle the most difficult emergency situation created on the airplane” that caused the nose to tilt persistently downwards, reads a statement from Ethiopian Airlines.
