Qantas Freight has introduced two Boeing 747-8F freighter aircraft to its fleet. The new freighters will be operated by Atlas Air, on behalf of Qantas. Each aircraft offers 20% more freight capacity and space for seven extra cargo pallets compared to the 747-400F. Qantas Freight executive manager Paul Jones said the arrival of the 747-8F aircraft would better meet customer demand for freight capacity around the globe.
