Lufthansa Cargo is set to expand its operations from Munich and for the first time will be operating freighters from the south German hub from July 6, 2024. Operating twice weekly, an A321 freighter will connect Munich with Istanbul Airport, complementing the existing belly network from the airport. “We are looking forward to offering our customers this new freighter connection, which makes our global network even more attractive, “said Ashwin Bhat, CEO of Lufthansa Cargo. The new freighter connection is planned every Saturday and Sunday.
