IAG Cargo is opening new routes in the Americas on a British Airways-operated Boeing to carry “perishables, local produce and oil equipment”. On March 20, the the cargo division of International Airlines Group announced it would be “operating a new route to Aruba (Oranjestad) via Antigua and Guyana (Georgetown) via St Lucia”. “We’re [able] to offer a speedy service and ensure that goods stay in perfect condition every step of the journey,” said Rodrigo Casal, regional commercial manager for Latin America at IAG Cargo, which operates around 250 weekly services between European and Latin American airports.
