Etihad Airways has grounded five A330 freighters and has opted to operate an all-777 Boeing freighter fleet, reported Reuters. “This freighter is the right aircraft for our long-term requirements,” Peter Baumgartner, the chief executive of Etihad’s airline operations, told Reuters. Etihad currently operates five 777 Freighters and the report states that it is considering options to release or sell the Airbus freighters.
