Eastern European LCC Wizz Air abandoned its plans for an IPO on Monday, citing current market instability in the sector. Wizzair stated in May that it planned to list on the London Stock Exchange in an attempt to raise €200 million to fund growth. In a statement, the airline said: “The outlook for Wizz Air’s business remains extremely positive and unaffected by the decision not to proceed with an IPO; the board will continue to focus on executing its strategy of driving growth and value.”
