Wizz Air to add five new routes from Belgrade in new year

Wizz Air is all set to expand its operations from Belgrade by introduction of five new routes to Lisbon, Bergamo, Berlin, Copenhagen and Zakynthos. The airline also plans to station its fourth Airbus A321 in the city. With these routes, Wizz Air will be the only operator between Serbia and Portugal. Commenting on its expansion, Wizz Air’s Network Officer, Evelin Jeckel, said: “We are delighted to be expanding our operations in Belgrade and thereby confirming our commitment to the Serbian market, where we are the leading ultra-low-cost airline in terms of the number of available seats and passengers carried.
