Wizz Air posts April 2021 traffic and emissions statistics

In April 2021, Wizz Air carried 565,000 passengers, operated 22% of its capacity at a load factor of 59%.  For the 12 months to April 2021, Wizz carried 36,828,033 passengers, with a 57.3% decline in capacity at a load factor of 63.6%. For the month of April, Wizz Air’s emissions in grams per passenger/km were 33% higher than last year due to the drop in load factor, while total CO2 emissions in tonnes decreased at a slightly higher rate than capacity.
