WestJet has launched a nonstop Boeing 787 service between Paris, France and Calgary, Canada. The four times weekly route sees a codeshare agreement agreed between WestJet and Air France. Under the partnership, travellers will have access to 11 cities in Europe, including: Athens, Lisbon, Rome, and Venice. WestJet’s chief commercial officer Arved von zur Muehlen commented: “WestJet’s first non-stop flight from Calgary to Paris opens up a key market for inbound tourism to Western Canada and easy and unique travel opportunities throughout Europe for Western Canadians.”
