The Chicago-Rockford International Airport has unanimously approved Vision Airlines to offer service from Rockford directly to Fort Myers, Florida. The flights will start Monday and run twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. Departure and arrival times are pending approval by the Department of Transportation. Vision Airlines will be a replacement for Direct Air, which stated it would be ceasing operations until May.
