Virgin Australia is in line for incentives as it continues to expand its routes into regional Queensland. Australian minister C. Newman stated last week: “We want to work with you [Virgin Australia] to make that happen and [Tourism Minister] Jann Stuckey has a few dollars in her pocket, which may be useful for creating those opportunities with the airports.” Newman also praised the airline for their recent expansion into regional Queensland.
