Some 850 of Virgin America’s flight attendants are seeking a vote on unionization, says a report by Reuters, which quotes Thom McDaniel, a TWU international vice president, confirming that there is a drive to organise workers at Virgin America to support unionization. The TWU needs 50% of Virgin America workers to vote in favour of unionization, which could come as soon as late July.
