Vietnam Airlines is to operate from Germany’s Munich airport for the first time, with services commencing from October 2024. Flights will run twice a week to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City aboard a 787-9. The airport is the fourth European destination in Vietnam Airline’s route network, joining Frankfurt, London Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle. “The new routes will expand our range of Asian connections and reinforce Munich Airport’s position as one of the leading aviation hubs in Europe,” said Jost Lammers, CEO of Munich Airport.
