Vietnam Airlines granted permit to operate US flights

Vietnam Airlines has been granted permission by the US Department of Transportation to operate flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to several US destinations. The airline has been issued a foreign air carrier permit to also operate flights via points in Taipei, Taiwan and Osaka and Nagoya in Japan. The airline will be permitted to fly to Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Seattle and Dallas-Fort Worth. As well as the ability to continue flights to Canadian cities Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto.
