United’s 140 fleet technical instructors, represented by the International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers (IAM), have ratified a new joint labor agreement. In addition, the airline’s 49 IAM-represented security officers also voted to ratify a new joint agreement. “We continue to make steady progress toward bringing our work groups together under responsible joint agreements, and we look forward to implementing these contracts,” said United Executive Vice President HR and Labor Relations Mike Bonds. “We are encouraged that both our fleet technical instructors and our security officers voted to ratify these agreements, which benefit both our company and our people.”
