The UK Airport Operators Association (AOA) called for the UK government to do more to support the country’s aviation industry, saying it was  after it was falling behind other major economies in supporting its aviation industry. The UK could see 113.5m fewer passengers travelling through its airports in 2020, according to figures from IATA, a drop of more than a third compared to 2019, which saw 297m passengers according to figures from the Civil Aviation Authority.
