Ukraine International Airlines is optimising its flight schedule due to a variety of reasons which include demand fluctuations, connecting traffic dynamics, Ukraine’s economic forecast, and the inability to use the Russian airspace. These changes will be made to ensure that the airline’s costs are optimised and that its costs will move back into the black. The new schedule will be introduced on November 16 and be in effect during IATA 2019/2020 winter schedule. UIA will increase its flight frequencies to Brussels, Norway’s Copenhagen, Sweden’s Stockholm, Poland’s Krakow, and the Spanish destination of Madrid up to seven times per week. Flights
