Saudi Arabian Airlines has posted a 14% rise in passenger traffic in the first half of 2011. The airline has a strong domestic market that accounts for 65% of total flights with the daily service between Jeddah and Riyadh accounting for the bulk of the traffic. It carried 9,915,578 passengers on 73,544 flights between January and June 2011. International traffic increased by 11% in the first half of 2011, with 3,466,045 passengers travelling on 20,993 flights in and out of the country.
