THY reports April traffic

During April 2021, the total number of passengers carried by Turkish Airlines (THY) was 2.4 million, compared to 5.9 million passengers in April 2019. The airline’s load factor was 58.7%. THY carried 153,798 tonnes of cargo/mail from 98,442 tons in April 2019 – an increase of 56.2%. For the January – April 2021 period, THY carried 8.9 million passengers, compared to 22.7 million passengers in the same period of 2019. THY’s load factor decreased by 19.3 points to 61.5%, compared to the same period of 2019. Capacity measured in Available Seat Kilometres (ASKs) decreased by 50.4% to 28.3 billion during
