Turkish Airlines has posted an annual net profit of TYR683 million ($307.7 million) for 2013, which is a drop from the TYR1.13 billion reported last year. Operating profit rose however by 9% to TRY1.24 billion, with sales revenue up by 27% to TRY18.8 billion. The airline reporter that its EBITDAR increased by 28% to TRY3.37 billion, with the EBITDAR margin holding steady at 18%. THY flew 23.6% more passengers in 2013 to 48.3 million passengers, with its load factor up by 1.4 percentage points to 79%.
