The weekend in India was gripped with technical emergencies with three international aircraft making emergency landings at various airports. According to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the landings were made in Calicut, Chennai, and Kolkata on Friday (Dec. 2) and Saturday (Dec. 3). The Air Arabia aircraft flying from Sharjah to Cochin was involved in a hydraulic failure, landed safely on the runway, and was towed to the bay.
