TAP launches new route to Bogota

TAP Air Portugal will launch a new direct route from Lisbon to Bogota, Colombia, starting on July 1st. TAP will operate four direct flights per week using 268-seat A330-200s. TAP stated that more than 14,000 bookings have already been received for the new route. Several airlines have recently commenced flights between Colombia and the EU, after the European Union voted to ease visa restrictions on Colombians visiting the Schengen Zone, of which Portugal is a member.
