A Lufthansa A380 flight aborted taxiing before takeoff from Frankfurt airport after the pilot requested a check on the aircraft’s undercarriage. Even though check confirmed nothing was amiss, passengers bound for Tokyo were offloaded from the aircraft and boarded onto another A380 aircraft four hours later. A more thorough inspection of the aircraft later discovered no problems with the undercarriage.
