Southwest Airlines said deliveries of up to 90 Boeing aircraft could be affected by production delays at the Seattle-based manufacturer. The airline ordered 100 Boeing aircraft, later revised down to 90, for delivery in 2023. “We are in discussions with Boeing to understand what that impact will be in 2023 and beyond,” the company said, after Boeing announced some deliveries would be held up while it addresses a manufacturing problem involving fuselage fittings and parts made by a supplier for its 737 MAX passenger jet.
