Sochi International Airport to establish direct air links with China in 2017

Basel Aero, a part of Russia’s largest industrial diversified group Basic Element, announces that Sochi international airport will established direct air links with Chinese Chengdu and six other Chinese cities in 2017. Sochi international airport is planning to open direct air service with Chengdu in spring 2017. Apart from it, regional authorities and Basel Aero are working to launch flights from Sochi to other six Chinese cities including Beijing, Zhengzhou, Ürümqi, Shanghai, Kunming and Guangzhou. Sochi officials and Basel Aero representatives have recently had talks with Chinese air carriers and tourism agencies about the further cooperation with Russia’s Black Sea
