Kristijonas Kaikaris, chief executive officer of Small Planet Airlines has confirmed that the Lithuania-based carrier is seeking an air operator’s certificate (AOC) in Cambodia. The airline already has AOCs in Lithuania, Poland and Germany. Speaking at a recent conference in London, Kaikaris explained that the airline, which primarily operates on a charter basis for holiday companies, needed to balance its seasonal destination: “In Europe, the big season is May to October.
