Swiss airline SkyWork Airlines has launched direct flights from London City Airport to Bern. The route will operate Sunday to Friday every evening from 27 March, with frequency doubling from September 5. In order to attract the ski market, SkyWork offers free 20kg hold baggage allowance, 8kgs cabin baggage limit and ski equipment rate of £17. The airline is launching seven more routes from Bern to Madrid, Belgrade, Milan Linate, Rome, Budapest, Amsterdam and Vienna from the end of October.
