SKYWEST COMPLETES PURCHASE OF EXPRESSJET

SkyWest has completed its $133 million all-cash purchase of ExpressJet. SkyWest and ExpressJet provide regional service for Delta Connection and United Express. ExpressJet flies as Continental Express. SkyWest plans to combine the two airlines operations and will use Atlantic Southeast’s facilities in Atlanta as operating headquarters of the combined company. However the airlines will continue to operate under separate certificates until the end of the regulatory process to combine the airlines.
