SITA rates Ryanair #1 EU airline for baggage

SITA’s World Tracer statistics have rated Ryanair as having mishandled the smallest amount of bags during 2013. The report showed Ryanair mishandled less than 0.36 bags per 1,000 passengers in 2013, while the worldwide average is 6.96 mishandled bags per 1,000 passengers. In Europe, the average figure was even higher at nine mishandled bags per 1,000 passengers. SITA has called on all European airlines to publish their service statistics in the interest of consumers.
