Singapore Airlines (SIA) has stated that it will replace an engine in each of three of its Airbus A380s after inspections found oil stains in them. The remaining eight engines in its A380 fleet were fine, the airline said in a statement. The three aircraft are currently located in Britain and Australia but will be flown back to Singapore empty for work to be carried out. SIA apologised to our customers for flight disruptions.
