Shanghai Airlines became the latest carrier in China to resume B737 MAX flights with the airline returning one out of the eleven B737-8s back into service. The second aircraft will return to service soon. The aircraft is currently finalizing a series of proving flights ahead of resuming revenue operations. The aircraft operated two proving flights at Taiyuan on April 10 and operated a non-scheduled flight from Taiyuan airport to Shanghai Hongqiao on April 11. Shanghai Airlines is the 11th airline in China to resume B737-8 flights. China’s airlines have so far returned 44 of their ninety-five B737-8s to service. China
