Singapore-based low-cost carrier Scoot is planning to launch its first flights to India. Scoot’s country manager for India, Bharath Mahadevan, has confirmed that flights will start by the end of February, pending final approval. The airline intends to use a 787 on India routes, which will “start with a metro and non-metro destination in the north and a metro in the south of India,” said Mahadevan to local media.
