Saudi Arabian Airlines is expecting to receive the first of 15 Airbus 321 aircraft on Friday. “The purchases have been made within the company’s current strategic marketing plan to modernize its fleet through the acquisition of a total of 82 new aircraft,” says Abdullah bin Mishbib, assistant director general for public relations at Saudia. “The new aircraft will be an important addition in terms of passenger capacity according to the company’s operational and future capacity.” Saudi Arabian Airlines has already received 25 of its 35 320s and 8 330s. It has 12 777s and 787’s still on order.
