SAS said on December 8 that it would open 20 extra routes in 2023 from Denmark, Norway and Sweden, taking travellers to new destinations in countries including Croatia, Italy, Portugal and Turkey. The additions would take SAS’ summer schedule to ovder 200 routes, the airline said in a statement, listing new flights such as Osl0-Florence, Bergen-Milan, Copenhagen-Antalya and Stockholm-Ibiza. The carrier said “strong customer demand” had prompted the new routes to be announced. Erik Westman, chief commercial officer, said that SAS “will continue to add to our already extensive network during the coming months”.
