Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has stated that it will halt all flights to Israel from March 2016 due to political instability in the region. SAS has also announced that it will cease services to Moscow and Ankara. “The route to Tel Aviv is expensive to operate and is under tough competition and we do not have sufficient profitability to continue to operate it. We can also see that the political instability affects the route,” a spokesman for SAS told media.
