An S7 Airlines B737 that was due to operate from Moscow to Novosibirsk, was stuck at Moscow’s Domodedovo airport for nearly six hours after its undercarriage sank into melting tarmac on the airport’s taxiway. Local media and eyewitnesses reported the aircraft’s wheels sank up to 15cm into the tarmac. The temperature at the airport was 32°C.
